Si bien su dependencia de mantenerse con suficientes HP para que Eruption no sea una verguenza es difícil de defender por sus horribles defensas y vulnerabilidad a los ataques prioritarios, con un simple boost este perro es prácticamente inwalleable. Suicune de Buzz es el único Pokémon que no recibe OHKO de sus ataques y eso se evita simplemente poniendo rocas. Bien usado es demasiado potente.
